I’m at the final stretch of my journey, and I can’t wait for it to begin. I’m waiting on shipment from 2 emerging designers. Once the product arrives we will be 1 week away from launching. I will be getting my Beyonce Countdown ON.

As I get closer to the launch you have to review what product you have on hand. As I was going thru the pictures of my purchases I was like, ok I luv what we are starting with. Then I decided to print up the prints and assemble it as if it was on site. Then I saw it, CHILD!!! I thought I was at Black House White Market. I had so many black and white pcs. and even though the pieces are amazing I have to regroup and infuse some color into this group.
I have a few brands that will help me with a Splash of Color. Now the next item is to make sure that everything Coordinates. The one thing I hate is when I’m shopping and I can’t find multiple items that coordinate with other items at that store. I may be a small business, but I want to have big & multiple sells. Learning more and more that it’s always about details.
Combing everything with a fine tooth comb cause in order to Own Fashion you have to have Good Fashion.
So close to the starting line, but still have some miles to go. Concept locked down and I love it. Now working on the Main piece ( the website). This will make or break your business. So I have been on my developers ass like white on rice. I cant wait til we get it up and running. We are coming along just find now, checklist almost completed. Smiles are creeping up and butterflies are coming in gangs right about now. Stay tune to more details.

Raw talent is everywhere and everyone has it. Now if you can profit from it, is a whole other thang. As this journey is unfolding I have found myself at many events and venue. Raw was the most recent and it was an outlet for underground artist of all sort to showcase themselves. It ranged from Artist ( artistic and musical) hairstylist,fashion designers, photogs, MUA and more. I thought it was quite nice.
But now ,let’s talk business. I’m a habitual shopper clearly I brought from multiple vendors to support. As I scoped the scene, I was surprise to see NO one buying anything. So this poses the question if you pay for your space and you only sell one thing or maybe nothing. Is the exposure worth it???

Saturday night out with the Girls. We hit our old favorite lounge for its 1st of the month Saturday party night. The place is crowded, the DJ is on point. We have our section and ready to get it in. So as I start to dance I notice this photographer shooting all the partygoers in spot. Then my business women side wkick’d in between Jay-z Can’t knock the Hustle and Freeway Flipside did I realize
The countdown begins for the opening and there are some people I need to employ. First off is a photographer this is so Key in opening an e-commerce. If your pictures aren’t right, you do a disservice to your product.
So of course I did a side meeting with the photographer and set up a date to see his work. Business is always on the brain. Who said clubbing wasn’t beneficial. Still keeping my options open, on the hunt for a great PHOTOGRAPHER.
